Most women in midlife eat less protein than current research suggests, and most of it lands at dinner. Answer 7 quick questions to get a personal daily protein range, a per-meal target, and recipes that fit how you actually eat. It takes about a minute.
How the quiz calculates your number
Your range is based on 1.0–1.2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day, the intake suggested for women around menopause in a 2024 review in Nutrients (Erdélyi et al.). We then split it across three meals and a snack so every meal carries roughly 25–35 grams. For the full explanation, read How Much Protein Do Women Need in Menopause?
Who should check with a doctor first
If you have kidney disease, take medication that affects kidney function, or have been told to limit protein, talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian before raising your intake. This quiz is educational and is not medical advice. See our medical disclaimer.
